Voice
She was born in Granada. She studied voice with Conchita Badia and Ferrán Gimeno. She continued her studies at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. She attended master classes with L. Egger, W. Raninger and F.J. Lara. She won the following international singing competitions: "Francisco Viñas" (Spain), "Giuseppe Borgatti" (Italy) and "Bienal de Rio de Janeiro" (Brazil). She has performed at the Gran Teatre del Liceu (Die Frau ohne Schatten by R. Strauss, Don Quixote by J. Massenet and Suor Angelica by G. Puccini), the Palau de la Música Catalana (Il Re Pastore by W. A. Mozart, L'Énfance de Christ by H. Berlioz and L'amor incert by X. Turull, etc), the Église de St. Augustin in Paris (Krönungs Messe by W.A.Mozart and Beethoven's Ninth Symphony), among others. She has been invited to the international festivals of Granada, Ripoll, Barcelona (Grec), Menorca, Bruselas (Europalia),Turín (Settembre Musica) Evreux (Música Contemporánea), Ginebra (Eté Espagnol), XVII "Congrés de Història de la Corona d'Aragó" and "Congreso Internacional F.G. Lorca" (Universidad de Granada). She has recorded works by L. Balada (Hangman, Hangman), Mestres Quadreny (Piano Xofer), Rodríguez Picó (El mar imaginat), J. Homs (Els ocells perduts), D. del Puerto (Canto de las dos naturalezas) and M. Ga Morante (Fragmentos del Romancero Gitano). She has also participated in several performances given by the painter Perejaume. She has collaborated with the OCB, Bética??, Lamoureux???, la Orquestra de Cambra Catalana, the Cuarteto Sónor and the Quator Bernède. She has been conducted by S. Más, R. Zollman, L. Balada, J. Guinjoan, J. Pàmies, J.C. Bernède and S. Johnson. With the Chamber Opera of Catalonia she has sung Il Pimpinone by G. Ph. Telemann, Il Campanello by G. Donizetti and La Cambiale di Matrimonio by G. Rossini. In addition, she has performed several works by Händel (The Messiah, etc), Mozart (Don Giovanni and Così fan tutte), Pau Casals (El pessebre), Amadeu Vives (Euda d'Uriach)... She is a recognized performer of Spanish and Latin American Art Song. She has recorded for Televisión Española, Televisió de Catalunya, Radio Nacional de España and Catalunya Música. She has published several cds: Mariana de Pineda. Música y Libertad (Council of Granada), Música de Catalunya. Compositores e intérpretes (Generalitat de Catalunya), L'Infantament meravellós de Sherezade de R. Gerhard y Els ocells perduts de J. Homs (La Mà de Guido) and Ave Praesul Barcinonae. Música de la Catalunya Medieval (La Mà de Guido). She has given master classes on Spanish Art Song in Paris. She also teaches this specialty at the "Barcelona Festival of Song" summer course. She is a voice teacher at the Escola d'Arts Musicals Luthier de Barcelona where she collaborates in the Master of Musical Performance program that this music school offers in conjunction with the University Ramon Llull.
