Music History

The Music History course is designed as a mix between academic rigor and the emotional experience that listening to the music itself gives us.

The plot thread of technical aspects, historical references or aesthetic principles is always accompained by a musical example (audition).

No prior music studies are necessary to sign up for this course.

The first part of the course is an Introduction to the elements of musical language: rhythm, melody or theme, harmony, orchestration, but also Suite, Sonata, Symphony, among others. All this will always be accompanied by the auditory example.

The only condition to enroll in the course is that you like music!

– Late Baroque: Händel, Vivaldi and Bach.

-School of Vienna: Mozart, Beethoven and Schubert.

-Romanticism: Germany, Russia and singular personalities.
