Séverine Rospocher
Séverine began her musical studies at the age of 12, and finished her career in 2001. Later, she continued her training as a flutist at the Conservatoire Superior de Paris, where she obtained the titles of Higher Degree in the classes of Catherine Cantin, Philippe Lesgourgues and Vincent Lucas. As a result of the French flute school, she kept on discovering how to teach and play the flute in other countries. This led her to study with several foreign European and American professors and, finally, in Barcelona with Vicens Prats, where she completed her training as an interpreter. For her, sharing music with the public is the ultimate goal. She has performed as a soloist with the Monte Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra, as an orchestra musician at the Aspen Music Festival, the Vallès Symphony Orchestra and also at the Gran Teatro del Liceu Orchestra, and in chamber music training in France, in the United States and throughout Catalonia. She is also passionate with teaching, seeing a great source of enrichment in sharing music with students. She is holder of the Diploma of State of French Pedagogy and is currently a professor at various music schools.
