Sara Rojo Alpiste, born in Barcelona, is heir to the Russian violin school. Disciple from the age of eight of the prestigious Ukrainian concert player Ala Voronkova, since the age of thirteen she has been offering violin and guitar recitals specializing in Spanish and Russian music, having played in several venues in Catalonia such as the museum of Catalan modernism, the MEAM, and participated in national and international festivals: Saillagouse en Concert, Mediterranean festival, Garrigues Guitar Fest. She has been part of other chamber groups such as the Glinka Sextet and the Vivaldi Camerata. She has collaborated with different orchestras such as M O. Simfònica de Sant Feliu, the Barcelona Philharmonic, the O. of the Gran Teatre del Liceu and the International Youth Orchestra of Lebanon. Currently, she has a virtuoso violin duo with Ala Voronkova, a violin and guitar duo with Miguel Marín and Duo Mefisto with guitarist Caterinangela Fadda.
