Nora Buschmann
Born in Berlin, she began her artistic training under the guidance of professors Monika and Jürgen Rost at the Franz Liszt School of Music in Weimar. Later she continued her studies at the Cologne University of Music with Prof. Hubert Kaeppel.
She has won several national and international competitions.
As a performer she has been invited to prestigious festivals in Europe, Turkey and South America, where she has given master classes and participated as a juror.
Her repertoire includes classical and contemporary composers, combining music from different traditions and regions. She is a musical cultural ambassador.
She has lived in Greece and Argentina where she has dedicated herself to the knowledge of the respective traditional musics. She plays with other musicians such as Carlo Domeniconi, Quique Sinesi or Agustina Luna.
Between 2015 and 2020 she was a professor at the Carl Maria von Weber University of Music in Dresden and for ten (10) years at the University of Rostock with her own Bachelor and Master students.
She has released five (5) CD albums with excellent reviews with music from Greece, Turkey, Argentina, Paraguay, Brazil and compositions dedicated to her.
