Anna Giménez, peak flutist and music therapist. She mainly teaches and has been a flute teacher at several music schools. As a soloist, she has premiered works by different contemporary Catalan composers, performing in the cycle of concerts of Phonos organized by Ribermúsica, the VI cycle TODAY-music organized by the Catalan Association of Composers, and in the "Jornadas Sonoras" with the Chaos Orchestra in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. She has performed concerts with different musical formations of old music as well as Mediterranean and ethnic music, by various Catalan and Spanish authors. As a music therapist, she performs sessions with babies in day care centers. On the other hand, she collaborates in mental health centers, works with people with functional diversity (intellectual disability, Down syndrome, others) and with people who live difficult emotional situations, supporting music therapy.
